Market Research & Recommendation Presentation

Spectrvm

We created a presentation to convey our research findings, brand story, and recommendations to our professor. After watching our presentation, our professor chose our group to be one of three groups to present to the client. He also chose us to represent Cal Poly's marketing department by asking us to present our presentation to prospective students and their parents at Cal Poly's Open House.

This quarter-long group project in my "Listening to the Customer" market research class required my group to work with a real client (Spectrvm). We conducted ethnographic market research by collecting observational and interview data in order to create a brand story. Using this brand story, we came up with recommendations that would enhance Spectrvm's brand identity.

English Essay

Profiling a Maker

In my Writing and Rhetoric class, I had to write an essay about someone who creates things. One of the key components was to incorporate a deeper meaning to the essay rather than just reporting what the person does. I wrote my essay about a high school friend who is a freelance makeup artist and started his own YouTube channel.
